Informatics

This teaching discipline consists of the following basic topics:

• Basic terms in Informatics. Algorithms and data structures;
• Arithmetical basics of the Informatics. Mathematical logic. Significance of the logic and the arithmetic for the development of the modern computer technique;
• Computer systems and technologies;
• System software. Operating systems;
• Applied software – characteristics and classification;  
• Basic information technologies. Calculations in tables – formulas and functions. Graphical presentation of datasets. Information technologies in the office; 
• Applied software for data processing in the fields of agriculture, economics, management, engineering practice (according to the professional direction in which the subject is carried out).
