Planning and forecasting

The aim of the discipline is to reveal the meaningful image of planning and predicting the future of economic systems. This content image is derived from the study of the economy as a complex system, from the study of the evolution of this system and from the measurement of its properties. The discipline is closely related to all economic disciplines - microeconomics, macroeconomics, management, statistics and etc.

The actual development of a plan is not a mere technical task. For this reason, a basic revision of the methodological basis on which the different plans were built in the past is necessary. It is necessary to clear the accumulated prejudices and to create a real science of planning and forecasting. This course represents an attempt to create the much needed new theory and methodology in the field of planning and forecasting the future of economic systems.

This course aims to prepare the necessary specialists for the needs of the regional government; giving the students knowledge of the planned activity; Skills to use this knowledge in the development of certain planning documents and solutions; knowledge (models) with which it imitates, reproduces what is seen, learned and knowledge about modern planning. The practical purpose of the discipline is to direct the young future managers in the right direction, to show them the approach through which they should orient themselves in managing the regions in order to succeed.
