Viticulture

In the discipline "Viticulture", students receive knowledge about the state, problems and prospects for the development of viticulture in our country and in the world. They gain information about the biological requirements in the production of vine planting material, the creation and cultivation of the vineyards and the scientific and technical prerequisites for modern highly efficient grape production, in accordance with the biological requirements of the varieties, the ecological conditions and the applied agricultural techniques.

Information is provided on the economic-technological qualities of the most important table, seedless and wine varieties and rootstocks, and their requirements for ecological conditions and the applied agricultural techniques for obtaining quality yields, for the respective directions of processing.
