Fundamentals of winemaking

In the "Fundamentals of Winemaking", students are introduced to theoretical and practical knowledge of the wine grape processing and production of different types of wines.
Their knowledge is enriched about the relationship between the quality of the raw material - the grapes and the impact on the final quality of the resulting wines. Students get to know in a theoretical aspect the various technological schemes for grape processing, as well as their practical application in various wineries.
Students receive the necessary practical training for the methods of analysis and quality, both of the raw material and of the resulting wines.
The curriculum advocates the topic of organoleptic analysis for the quality of wine, as well as the possibility of utilizing secondary products from winemaking.
