This teaching discipline aims at acquiring profound knowledge and skills regarding modern information technologies and their application in engineering. It is achieved by studying technical devices and software techniques for storing and processing of numerical and graphical information. Theoretical and practical lessons for computer nets, basic net technologies, applied communication software and the forms and organization of electronic business are also included. These knowledge and skills are needed for the students’ professional development and practical realization.

  • for the specialties “Agricultural economics” and “Business economics”

The goal of the topics included is to provide the students profound knowledge and skills concerning the use of the information technologies in the economy and business. 
The practical lessons are pointed to the work with electronic tables in realization of calculations by formulas and functions (mathematical and trigonometric, statistical, logical etc.) and the presentation of the information through diagrams, graphics as well. The examples are oriented to processing economical data.
