The purpose of the discipline "Selection of perennial crops" in its part "Selection of fruit crops" is to expand the students' knowledge of fruit growing and pomology. This is done by getting to know the main steps of the selection and introduction of individual fruit species, with the peculiarities of our and the world's selection, which is a prerequisite for the production of fruits with high qualities.
