Annual Meeting of United Agricultural Producers (UAP)

The event brought together nearly 200 farmers from across the country to discuss current topics and the future of the agricultural sector.

Official guests at the meeting included:

• Ms. Iva Ivanova, Executive Director of the State Fund Agriculture (SFA)
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Ivanova, Rector of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mladen Mladenov, Executive Director of the National Agricultural Advisory Service
• Mr. Petar Kirovski, Director of the "Crop Production" Directorate at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food

In her inspiring address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Ivanova described Bulgarian agriculture as modern and efficient, highlighting its rich diversity and sustainability.

“Bulgaria is blessed with unique climatic conditions and traditions that provide us with the advantage of producing high-quality agricultural products. New technologies and younger generations are the key to the sector’s development,” she shared.

Assoc. Prof. Ivanova stated that the Agricultural University – Plovdiv will continue to be a driving force of innovation, preparing future leaders in agriculture. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between education and business, ensuring the development of skilled and competitive professionals.
