Technologies in viticulture

In the "Technologies in Viticulture" discipline, students receive detailed theoretical information on modern aspects of vine agrotechnics. In the training process, they learn practical skills for vine propagation, the production of grafted vines and the creation of new vines.

A major place is devoted to pruning and training of the vine, as the most important activities affecting the quantity and quality of the grape yield. In separate sections, the applied special prunings, canopy management, maintenance of the soil surface, fertilizing, water regime and irrigation of the vine are distinguished.

With the harvesting of wine and table grapes and the production of raisins, the education of the students in the educational and qualification degree "Bachelor" takes on a finished form.
