Training & Continuing Education Expert

50% (part‑time), Plovdiv, Fixed term

The Centre for Cleantech and Biomass Resource Efficiency (CCBRE) at Plovdiv Agricultural University is seeking a seasoned professional to design, organize, and deliver our internal and external training programs. You will shape a cohesive learning portfolio for researchers and administrative staff—ensuring pedagogical quality and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Design & Curriculum Development (~25%)

Lead needs assessments; define learning outcomes; design curricula; create syllabi, materials, and assessments aligned to research and administrative competencies.

• Course Delivery & Facilitation (~30%)

Teach and facilitate courses, workshops, and coaching sessions across audiences (early‑career researchers, PhD candidates, senior scientists, administrative teams).

• Portfolio Management & Scheduling (~15%)

Plan the annual training calendar; coordinate venues/platforms, instructors, and logistics; ensure smooth execution.

• Business Development & Financial Ownership (~15%)

Set pricing, forecast and monitor budgets, and meet agreed revenue and margin targets; develop B2B offerings and open‑enrollment formats; reporting.

• Quality Assurance & Evaluation (~10%)

Implement feedback loops, track learning impact, and drive continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Engagement (~5%)

Collaborate with research groups, HR/administration, and external partners to expand the training pipeline.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in conceptualizing, organizing, and delivering professional training programs (university, research, corporate courses, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to run revenue‑generating training (pricing, budgeting, margin tracking, and reporting).
• University degree in education/instructional design, adult learning, HRD, or a relevant scientific/managerial field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong facilitation and communication skills; excellent English; Bulgarian and/or another EU language is an advantage.
• Strength in stakeholder management, organization, and continuous improvement.

Salary & Employment Terms

€1,550 per month (gross) for a 50% position. Additional benefits per institutional policy.
