An Inspiring Gathering at Agricultural University – Plovdiv: Students Share the Magic of Erasmus+ during #ErasmusDays
On 15 October 2026, the library of Agricultural University – Plovdiv became a place for sharing experiences, finding inspiration and exploring new horizons. Once again, the University joined #ErasmusDays, a major international initiative celebrating the opportunities that the Erasmus+ programme offers young people around the world.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Atanasov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, who warmly welcomed the students. He outlined the wide range of Erasmus+ mobility opportunities available through Agricultural University and encouraged students to take an active role and make the most of everything the programme has to offer.

At the heart of the gathering was an engaging dialogue “by students, for students”. Nedelin Ganev and Hristo Nenkov, volunteers from the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), delivered an inspiring presentation. They introduced the audience to the organisation’s activities, explained the key features and benefits of Erasmus+, and shared personal stories from their own mobility experiences.

Viktor Karabadzhakov and Antonio Georgiev, students in Plant Protection at Agricultural University, also contributed actively to the discussion, offering first-hand accounts of their experiences abroad. They shared valuable insights from their Erasmus+ traineeships at Sagea in Italy, as well as their participation in Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) in Italy and Portugal.

The presentation and personal stories sparked great interest and inspired those attending to look beyond borders and plan their own Erasmus+ mobility experiences. Once again, the gathering demonstrated how sharing knowledge and experiences can encourage students to explore the world and gain invaluable experience of their own.
