The Centre for Cleantech and Biomass Resource Efficiency (CCBRE) at the Plovdiv Agricultural University is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Head of Transfer Operations and Outreach Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build partnerships with local and international businesses to enhance project impact and promote technology transfer.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to increase visibility and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as a primary spokesperson, managing media relations and producing impactful publications and press releases.
• Organize internal and external events, workshops, and educational programs to foster community and stakeholder involvement.
• Lead a team responsible for outreach, communication, and marketing efforts aligned with CCBREs goals.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication, marketing, and public relations strategies.
• Collaborate with academic and industrial partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and innovation.
Requirements:
• At least 7 years' experience in a senior communications, public relations, or technology transfer role, with demonstrated success in building industry and community partnerships.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams, drive strategic initiatives, and align activities with organizational goals.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities, with experience in managing collaborations between academia, industry, and government stakeholders.
• Fluency in Bulgarian and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Additional proficiency in German or French is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills, with a proactive approach to planning, execution, and addressing challenges effectively.
• Expertise in designing and implementing marketing strategies, including media campaigns and digital outreach.
• Interest in cleantech, biomass resource efficiency and EU frameworks such as Horizon Europe, preferably with experience in proposal preparation and dissemination.
• Commitment to open science, ethical standards in professional and research environments.
Position Start Date
The position is available from June 2025 onwards.

Terms and conditions of salary
The starting annual salary is €3,100 per month for a full-time position, making a total of €37,200 per year.
