Online meeting on the LUBAN WORKSHOP PROJECT 20.03.2025

On March 19, 2025, an online meeting was held on the Luban Workshop project, which is being implemented at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv together with the Chinese partners Tianjin Agricultural University and Tianjin Economics and Trade School.

The Rector of the Agricultural University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Ivanova, welcomed all present and wished success in the future joint activities between the educational institutions and the further development of the project.

Prof. Dr. Dimo Atanasov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Svetla Yancheva, Secretary General for Institutional Cooperation and Communications, expressed their gratitude to the Chinese partners for their support and great achievements in teamwork and shared the high results of the students who are about to complete the master's program "Electronic Commerce" this year, which was developed and is being delivered jointly with Tianjin Agricultural University and Tianjin Economics and Trade School. Even before completing their master's degree, a significant share of students work full or part-time in established Bulgarian and international companies.

The representatives of Tianjin Agricultural University and Tianjin Economics and Trade School presented their proposals for strengthening joint activities with the Agricultural University and transforming Luban Workshop into a significant center for promoting international cooperation and training for professional skills in the field of smart agriculture.

The partner institutions expressed their willingness to jointly develop other master's programs, increase mutual visits between professors and students from China and Bulgaria, and hold several academic forums. All participants were categorical that Luban Workshop is a project that creates talents with innovative thinking and professional competence and strengthens international exchange in the field of agriculture and technological progress.
