A PHOTO EXHIBITION, DEDICATED TO THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY - PLOVDIV

The Rector of the Agricultural University, Prof. Dr. Hristina Yancheva, the Rector of the Medical University, Prof. Dr. Mariana Murdzheva, and Kostadin Dimitrov, Mayor of District “Trakia” opened officially the photo exhibition  „75 years of Agricultural University-Plovdiv: Way over the years (1945-2020)“ on November, 16th in Tsar Simeon's Garden, near the Demetra Fountain in Plovdiv.

The exhibition is part of the jubilee celebration of Agricultural University - Plovdiv and it consists of 10 boards with photos and texts which aim is to trace the historical development of the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry at the first state university in Plovdiv, through the Higher Institute of Agriculture to today's Agricultural University. 

The plots of the paintings show the past and the present by decrees and symbols, building stock, training and experimental fields, agricultural machinery, laboratory complexes, an agro-ecological center, the University library and the academic publishing house, students` life, many awards and prizes.

The photo exhibition was organized with the assistance of the Municipality of Plovdiv, Department "Culture, Archeology and Cultural Heritage", and can be viewed until 7th of December on the posters in Tsar Simeon's Garden.
