The University Library

The Library of Agricultural University Plovdiv is a specialized scientific library that provides research, teaching and information activities in the field of agriculture.

The Library is located on the third floor of the Main building and it includes: two book depositories, a Loan office, a Student reading room, a“Prof. Dimitar Dimov” reading room, a Bibliographic Cabinet and there are a total of 75 reading places.

• Student reading room – 30 places
• “Prof. Dimitar Dimov” reading room – 20 places
• Bibliographic Cabinet – 13 places
• Loan office – 12 places

In 2017 the Student rеading rooms and the Library loan office were renovated.

2018 - Diplom "Library of the Year 2017".

2020 - The Library of Agricultural University Plovdiv is nominated by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture and Plovdiv Municipality for the prestigious "Hristo G. Danov" award.

2021 - Diplom "Library of the Year 2020".

2022 - Reni Dimitrova, a librarian at the University Library, won "the National Librarian of the Year 2021" Award, which is given by the Bulgarian Library and Information Association.
