62nd Croatian and 22nd International Symposium on Agriculture

62nd Croatian and 22nd International Symposium on Agriculture 06.10.2026

The Croatian Symposium on Agriculture invites researchers, professionals, young scientists, and representatives of academic and industry institutions from Croatia and abroad to join the 62nd Croatian and 22nd International Symposium on Agriculture (SA2027).

Organized by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, together with the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and numerous esteemed co-organizers, the Symposium will take place from 15 to 19 February 2027 at Amadria Park Hotel Jure in Šibenik, Croatia, under the theme “Shaping Resilient Agrifood Futures: Bridging Tradition, Innovation and Sustainability.”

As agriculture faces mounting pressures from climate change, resource constraints, and rapid technological change, building resilient agrifood systems requires scientific excellence and closer collaboration across disciplines. Now in its seventh decade, the Symposium continues to provide a platform for researchers, professionals, and young scientists from Croatia and abroad to exchange knowledge and ideas through scientific sessions, invited lectures, organized discussions, and poster presentations.

The Symposium invites participants to contribute by delivering an oral presentation, presenting a poster, showcasing their institution or company, or simply joining the event as participants. It offers an opportunity to share research findings, exchange experiences, establish new professional connections, and contribute to discussions on the future of resilient and sustainable agrifood systems.

The Symposium will be held at the 4-star Amadria Park Hotel Jure, part of the Amadria Park resort in Šibenik, a historic town on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. Šibenik is home to the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James and a beautifully preserved old town with narrow stone streets.
