Waste Materials Application in Civil and Environmental Engineering

📍 Warsaw, Poland | 📅 20–24 April 2026 (Online part: 13–17 April)

🎯 Target Group: BSc nad MSc students in Civil and Environmental Engineering and related fields

This course explores innovative uses of construction and industrial waste in civil and environmental engineering. Through group work, labs and field testing, students will gain practical insights into sustainable infrastructure and circular solutions. (4 ECTS)

 

Alien Species in Forest Ecology

📍 Rogów, Poland | 📅 14–19 June 2026 (Online part: 14 April, 28 April and 2 June 2026)

🎯 Target Group: BSc nad MSc students in forestry and environmental sciences Students will examine the ecological impacts, management strategies and benefits/risks of alien tree species in forest ecosystems. The programme includes lectures, field trips, workshops and debates held at the Forest Experimental Station and Arboretum. (3 ECTS)

 

AgeWise: Science and Society in Ageing (Online part: Online part: kick-off meeting 8 June; online modules 22 June -31 August 2026)

📍 Warsaw, Poland | 📅 15–19 June 2026

🎯 Target Group: BSc and MSc students interested in interdisciplinary aspects of ageing. An interdisciplinary programme that addresses ageing challenges from biological, social, health and policy perspectives. It combines lectures, demonstrations and design-thinking workshops in international teams. (3 ECTS)

 

Circular Green Nanobiotechnology

📍 Warsaw, Poland | 📅 18–24 June 2026 (Online part: before -TBC)

🎯 Target Group: MSc, PhD students, early-stage researchers in biotechnology, nanotechnology, life sciences, environmental sciences, chemistry, biology, agriculture, veterinary and biomedical sciences This intensive course integrates online learning with on-site labs focused on green synthesis, circular economy principles and sustainable nanobiotechnology. Students will gain theoretical and practical competencies in biosafety and bio-based nanomaterials. (4 ECTS)

 

Wildlife Conservation and Management in Europe ( Online part: June 2026 – TBC)

📍 Warsaw & National/Landscape Parks, Poland | 📅 6–10 July 2026

🎯 Target Group: B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in animal science, biology, environmental science, ecology, forestry and related fields This field-based programme offers hands-on experiences in European wildlife conservation, biodiversity management, invasive species control and habitat monitoring using GIS and data-collection methods. (3 ECTS)

 

Personalized and Sustainable Gluten-Free Diet – Health Benefits and Risks ( Online part: 1–3 July)

🎯 Target Group: Bachelor’s and Master’s students in nutrition, dietetics, food science, health sciences, or related fields who are interested in personalized nutrition, gluten-free diets, and sustainable food systems. This programme focuses on personalized nutrition and sustainability within gluten-free diet contexts. It combines expert lectures, hands-on cooking labs, sensory analysis workshops and team projects. Participants will develop practical skills in designing balanced and environmentally sustainable gluten-free menus. (3 ECTS)
