Themes and Topics
 
ICEEM11 provides a wide range of multidisciplinary research topics grouped in 7 general themes.

Please find below the topics for an adequate match for your abstract submission:
I. Environmental biotechnology
II. Water and wastewater cycles in the context of circular (bio)economy
III. Waste management in the context of circular (bio)economy
IV. Sustainability assessment & eco-innovation
V. Novel materials for environmental and energy applications
VI. Monitoring and modelling of environmental pollution
VII. Thematic workshops

In order to better comply with the current situation, the deadline for abstract submission has been extended until 15 April 2021.

Depending on the epidemiological situation in September 2021, we are prepared to organise ICEEM11 as a hybrid event with onsite and online activities. Onsite activities will take place in Muttenz, Switzerland, from 8-10 September 2021, while online access will be provided for all participants after registration.

We hope that this deadline extension will support your decision to participate to the ICEEM11 Conference. We would like you to take this opportunity to communicate your research results and meet colleagues at one of the first conferences in the field of Environmental Engineering and Management after a very long break.

Please note that if the pandemic situation will not allow the direct conference participation we are prepared to organize ICEEM11 in a hybrid format (online and onsite). The fees for online participation will be 75 EUR (50 EUR for PhD students).
