The Centre for Cleantech and Biomass Resource Efficiency (CCBRE) is seeking an experienced and highly reliable Office Manager to ensure the smooth operation and long-term organisational stability of the institute. Embedded in a well-established academic environment, CCBRE is dedicated to applied research, international cooperation, and sustainable innovation. The position supports both CCBRE and the closely affiliated Foundation for Applied Research, ensuring coherent organisation, communication, and administration across both entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organisation and oversight of daily office and institute operations
• Central contact point for employees in administrative matters
• Administrative support of institute and foundation management
• Planning and coordination of scientific and other events
• Internal and external communication and correspondence
• Management of social media communication
• Coordination of contacts with partners and stakeholders
• Organisation of meetings and cooperation activities
• Coordination of office infrastructure and service providers

Candidate Requirements

• Bulgarian as native language (mandatory)
• English proficiency at C1/C2 level (mandatory)
• German language skills are an advantage
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in academic or research environments preferred
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Structured, reliable, and discreet working style
• Verifiable professional references

Position Details

Starting Date: By agreement

Location: Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Salary: €2,500 gross per month

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
